Season's Greetings from GBSA

The year has come and will be gone in a few short days. It has been a busy year here at the studio to say the least; primarily with the move. Although we managed to slave through it in a mere 3 months, the end product looks fantastic and peer feedback has been positive. If you have not had the chance to drop by, please do; it is night and day compared to the old suite. None of this could have happened without the help of all those involved so we owe a huge THANK YOU to all that were part of the process.

We also celebrated the launch of our new website. Shout out to Emira who managed to bring this baby all together on her own in only 2 weeks! We finally have full page viewing of all our project images!!!

Lastly, what better way to cap off a year by bringing home some hardware? Mount Dennis Library - recipient of the 2013 Toronto Urban Design Award of Excellence for Public Buildings in Context. Out of the 125 submissions throughout the City, only 11 awards of excellence were given; with that we are truly honoured. To all fellow media partners who promoted the success of this project - we thank you for your help.

What a way to wind down the year with this dreadful ice storm in Toronto! We hope that everyone will be able to celebrate this Christmas with electricity! Looking forward to 2014, keep in mind that learning and creativity are ongoing entities. The moment you lose grasp of them is the moment you lose purpose as a designer. Keep that in mind.

Our office will be closed from Tuesday, December 24, 2013 and will reopen on Monday, January 6, 2014. 2014 -- let's think BIG.
