Colio Niagara Winery Ministry Certificate
It has taken several months but we now have the Environmental certificate required to produce the quantity of wine desired on the Niagara site. The next step will be another town meeting to review the design.

Colio Niagara Winery Ministry Certificate
The new winery designed by G. Bruce Stratton Architects is close to receiving approval from the Ministry of the Environment. We hope to have the last few concerns clarified this week in order to proceed with the new design. The certificate will allow a final meeting with the public for site plan approval as well as give the owner approval for the winemaking.

Niagara Cellars Winery Competition
This past year G.Bruce Stratton Architects was on the shortlist for the new Niagara Cellars/Dan Aykroyd winery. The scheme consisted of two woven buildings supported on wood stilts.

The Niagara Colio Estate Winery
The new winery for Colio Estate Wines is undergoing Site Plan Approval. This 30,000 sf facility is to be located on the Niagara River Parkway. The design incorporates several sustainable elements including a green roof and a lagoon for process wastewater.
